Engineering and DS Medica together for the General Medicine

Engineering and Ds Medica have formed a partnership to operate and collaborate in the field of medicine. The initiative - which will be presented for the first time in Arezzo during the 2009 edition of the Forum on Risk Management in Health - aims to offer to more than 50,000 practitioners affiliated with the National Health Service a complete and integrated solutions, services and IT consulting, to support the process of digitization of health care planning.
With this initiative, the area of e-health in Italy will have an integrated portfolio of solutions and expertise: DS Medica, with over 18,000 users of the solution Cartella Clinica Bracco, is one of the first operators in the market for ICT services to General Practitioners and Pediatricians, and the portfolio of skills and solutions of the Engineering group, present in over 60% of the Italian health companies with proprietary products, consulting and IT services, and active in numerous projects of electronic health records.
The new reality, addressed exclusively to Doctors of General Medicine and Pediatrics, will be able to offer centrality and visibility to the practitioner, starting from the numerous e-Health projects launched today in Italy and focused on electronic health records, a critical success factor for achieving continuity of care.
